Before I share with you the simple solution to Obama Care I want to share some inspiration and give you an assignment. The assignment is to use the word of the day at least three times. What’s the word? Hubris and according to Wikipedia here’s what it means.
“Extreme pride or arrogance. Hubris often indicates a loss of contact with reality and an overestimation of one’s own competence, accomplishments or capabilities, especially when the person exhibiting it is in a position of power.”
I like this word because how accurately it describes King Barry and the Obama administration. Now what is the simple answer to Obama Care? Before I tell you first let me encourage anyone who is reading this who might go on television in support of liberty to not go on TV and complain about Obama Care without being able to offer a solution. Otherwise you’re just externalizing. So what’s the answer? Healthcare is not a power granted to the federal government. It has to be done on the state level! Let each state do what it wants to do and if you don’t like your states plan, then move!
Pastor JC Hall fills in for KrisAnne. Pastor Hall refutes the notion that people of faith are not to be involved in the liberty movement in resisting oppressive and lawless government. Discover numerous example of “God-ordained” civil authorities who were declared out of order by God Himself. The mere occupation of a govt position does not grant one carte blanche power to subjugate the masses.
Pastor JC Hall fills in for KrisAnne and continues to counter the erroneous teaching that Christians should not be involved in politics or in political activism but should slavishly submit to tyrannical authority. In episode one you heard the Biblical basis for civil disobedience and saw three examples: the Apostles, the Hebrew Midwives and the mother of Moses. In this episode Pastor Hall goes further and gives several more instances from the Bible of people resisting civil authority and being blessed by God because of it.
Those who do not know their history are doomed to repeat its mistakes, so I share with you a tale of five kings so you can understand when Patrick Henry said; ” I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided and that is the lamp of experience. I know no way to judge the future but by the past”.
